KRISTIN'S PISMO BEACH MEMORIAL
On June 14, 2003 two benches were dedicated to the memory of Kristin Smart in the park at Dinosaur Caves, Pismo Beach.
The celebration of Kristin's life was attended by family and friends. Prayers and songs were offered and seven beautiful doves were released over the ocean in symbolism of the seven years Kristin has been missing
The 12 acre city park includes 10,000 feet of walking paths, native plants, a contemplative botanical garden and a pagoda.
The City of Pismo Beach could not have chosen a more appropriate place to memorialize the beauty of Kristin, who loved and felt at home near the sea.
In addition to celebrating Kristin's life the site will also remind visitors that even in a place as beautiful as the Central Coast of California, evil lurks.
